The Casa Pich i Pon is a building located at the north side of the Placa de Catalunya. Designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, the building appears to be Noucentisme with influences of Neo-Classical. The building is almost devoid architectural extravagancies except on the roof which is topped by two pinnacle of Neo-Classical temples. In both cases, a Monopteros on top of a square pavilion. It’s okay, unless you’re already going to the Plaza, I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it.

Casa Pich i Pon is quite an impressive building. It was constructed around the early part of the twentieth century. The architecture of this building is amazing. The building lies directly opposite Plaza cataluna which is the beautiful nerve centre of Barcelona. This area if full of great shops and shopping centres. It definitely merits a visit.
