Despite the fact that multiple Pages say so, there are NO lockers to keep valuables while you swimm, so if you go alone or with your partner you basicaly can not swimm. Or you can not go together wich really Just kills the hole point...
There weren't a lot of people and salesmen around. Shops / restaurant aren't so close either. There is a free toilet near by.
If you prefer quiet and peaceful day at the beach (just like I do) then this is the perfect place for you.
Bogatell beach is the best beach in Barcelona. It has the clearest water and it has a sandy surface all the way. The depth of the water level increases very slowly and is therefore perfect for families with children. McDonald's is very close and many...More
We came here on Wednesday as we fancied a chilled out day after sightseeing the day before! The beach is clean and the water was warm after the initial chill factor! Bits of debris in the water but no worse than anywhere else in Spain....More
We got to the beach at 10.30am on a Thursday and it was already busy with people sunbathing and swimming in the sea. Further down there were sunbeds and parasols for hire. Along the walkway there are plenty of people jogging, cycling or playing table...More

The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of
activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
