“Amazing. You won't get a better view of Barcelona”
3 Sep 2014
We close the doors of the Pi church and turn off the lights. Using lanterns to light the way, we explore the ancestral way of seeing and living beauty. And we do it at an hour when the church is closed to all but employees - and our visitors. In...more
I took the guided tour by night.
You tour the magnificent old church by candle light, hearing the history and legends of the building and area. You carry your lantern, stopping at every floor of the tower on the way up, getting a new part...More
This tour was so good I did it twice, once in the afternoon and once in the evening. The tour itself creates a mysterious atmosphere, by deciphering some of the symbolism and history of this gothic church. The church itself is beautiful, with stops at...More

Really recommend this beautiful way of spending an evening in Barcelona. The guide takes you to secret places of the Basilica and every detail is looked after: a wonderful mix of culture and entertainment. Do wear confortable shoes!

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
