I knew a lot of years ago a Marula club in Madrid and it was not too bad, music presumptuous minimal and a lot of guys trying to flirt although they were preppy and boring. But it could be fun? at some point... But the...More

You know when you’re in a new city looking for some dance action but not wanting techno or house or (heaven forbid) rock? OMG Marula café was perfect. In our group we had metal heads, rockers, electro swingers, cheesy pospsters and few ‘on the fencers’...More

Great decor, nice bar and drinks, not too crowded, fantastic live music, good post-performance dance sound track, nice mix of people- cool without being in-your-face cool. Definitely would recommend it!

Found out about this place from a grad student we met while having brunch at Milk. The Jam Session is free after 11:30 p.m. (23:30) on Wednesdays and Sundays. I later found out people just show up and jam. It was great. Very talented musicians.
