My wife and I had a short stop off in Barcelona whilst on a TUI cruiser and enjoyed the visit. Strolling around we stumbled on this wonderful, working church. The Lady of Bethlehem Parish Church is in Las Ramblas and the outside is somewhat understated,...More

If only time made it possible to see the inside of every beautiful exterior... this is no exception. Very beautiful on the outside, and easy to admire from the Ramblas...

When visiting Barcelona,of course La Rambla is on your list of places to explore so when you’re walking down La Rambla, you’ll notice Esglesia De Betlem near La Bouqueria market so make sure not to miss it and enjoy the beauty of this majestic cathedral

Not the most ornate church you will see, but that is part of its peaceful charm. Located just off La Rambla this is a no entry fee stop worth 15 to 30 minutes of time. The main church is simplistic and calming. On the sides...More

A lovely Catholic church, built in the 1500s- it has suffered from several disasters eg fire and war, which has destroyed some irreplaceable treasures but it is still tranquil and beautiful. This church is on the corner of the Ramblas and is often not open unless...More

La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La
Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll
past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic
Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
