In your visit, you can understand how developed was the roman civilisation. And the ruins of 20 centuries ago are quiet well preserved underneath the gothic city of Barcelona, dated around 6 centuries ago.

Hidden under the streets of Barcelona is this wonderful and beautifully preserved Roman town. Excellent walk-ways - all wheelchair accessible. Even the toilet was accessible - once someone found a key to work the lift which we had been told was 'not working'. This place...More

It was really amazing to actually view Roman ruins, almost 2000 years old. Makes a person wonder at what else may be underground waiting to be discovered. The museum is set up so you can wander over the ruins via a glass walkway learning about...More

This museum of history takes you underground where you will see over 4,000 square meters worth of Roman ruins. The exhibit is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained and not very crowded. No lines - which is great. Bring the kids.
