As everywhere, this is the best way to enjoy cities, get acquainted with them and then, the next day visit places to our taste. Barcelona no exception.

This bus ride is a must do to get a feel for the various areas and significant sites in the center of Barcelona. It gives us an opportunity to get off and wander or stay on and go around like a tour bus.

This is, by far, the best way to see Barcelona hassle-free. We arrived on a cruise ship and had only half a day to see as much as we could. We caught the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus at the World Trade Center (which, coincidentally, was exactly where our port bus from the cruise ship let us off). We rode past the Columbus statue, the Olympic port, the Palace de Palau, the Gothic Quarter, and Plaza Catalunya, listening to the wonderful commentary provided, and disembarked at Passeig de Gracia, where we walked to Casa Battlo and toured it. We picked the bus up again after the tour and headed to Sagrada Familia. Finishing there, we walked to another stop, and picked up the bus that took us to the Gothic Quarter. We made our way to the Gothic Cathedral and then wandered through the narrow alleyways, and interesting squares to Las Ramblas, where we strolled along, enjoying the street artists, tented restaurants, and people-watching. Reaching the Columbus Monument, we found a small restaurant where we sat outside and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Afterwards, we walked back to the World Trade Center and caught our port bus back to the cruise ship. It worked perfectly!

friendly, helpful. Explanation of things over their headsets very well presented. If folks asked for a few more minutes for pictures they waited. A real great way to get around places so you can mark where you wouild like to go back to . Love this idea.
