There were eight of us, most of us unfit, and all of us hungover from the night before. Our guide, Nadim, was excellent; friendly, funny and full of interesting facts. He talked us through the plan before we set off, kept an eye on his,...More
We met Nadim outside the shop and immediately felt like this was someone we could spend a few hours with. A brilliant blend of insight into the sights, the sounds and the theory of Barcelona. We visited some top traditional but fantastic eateries and drinkeries...More
We did a bike tour with Maria today and it was fantastic. She took us to some of the less-touristy places and had great little stories and fun facts about the places we went. She also made recommendations for other things to see.

Edu's English was excellent and he gave us some interesting tidbits that we likely would not have learned elsewhere. The cycling was not challenging other than a few parts dealing with loads of oblivious pedestrians.
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
