After paying the small entry fee, we proceeding climbing the stairs to the top. Along the way to the top, there are several levels offering with nice views of Salamanca and historical information in Spanish, We passed through the rear of the cathedral, where the...More

Don't be afraid of the climb. Because there are side trips at various levels this is done a little at a time. You also go inside both Cathedrals and get a good view of each from above. While this does not allow a detailed look...More

We chose to pay to go up the tower rather than pay to go into the Cathedrals based on the TA reviews. As well as the views from the external roof area you also get a view of the interior of the new cathedral from...More

This is a great place to explore hidden bits of the old and new cathedrals and enjoy amazing views. There are lots of tiny stairs and climbing to do, so not suitable if you’re very unfit or can’t walk far. There are several rooms to...More

For a small entrance fee we climbed the bell tower for views over the city. The highlights were however the fine views of the interior of both old and new cathedrals from balconies high above the nave.

When you have the occasion to do the Ieronimus, you shouldn’t hesitate. When will you get another chance to climb on the top of a catedral?
