Looks very different in the day and at night. definitely worth visiting. The lighting at night makes the structure glow like gold at night.

Salamanca is a very nice Spanish town and I really reccomend a visit, especially this plaza. Even if you dont sit at a bar or restaurant, it is nice just to se the old buildings.

It is a great place to have tapas. You can sit down in one of the numerous terraces and have beer/wine and tapas. It is specially nice at dawn, and at night.

Absolutely buzzing still approaching midnight on a Tuesday evening in January!! I doubt if it ever quiet here, the architecture and the ambience are great. Lots of bars and cafes. The place to be!

Surely every tourist who brings their camera to Salamanca takes pictures here. They must range from the grand panorama shots to zoomed-in focus on the detail of the busts around the square. You can wander round gazing at the fantastic architecture or sit and relax...More
