We came across this museum by chance as I had not read up about it. It is a fascinating church with its Visigothic horseshoe arches and beautiful frescoes on the walls. The exhibits were interesting. It was one of those places that you are glad...More

Have you ever wondered about how the Visigoth culture? It’s hard not to in Spain yet there are tantalizingly few places with their artifacts. This museum has the best Visigoth collection I’ve seen - and is housed in a Romanesque building with awesome mudejar architectural...More

This museum is of no help whatsoever to increasing our knowledge of th Visigoths. It is only aimed at the Spanish visitor. An audio tour would be easy to make and help those who are not Spanish. I complained to the entrance people and they...More

Would have given this site five stars, except that there is no information in English. So if you can't read Spanish, the benefit is restricted. I managed to understand just enough to enjoy the visit. The location is inside a former church, which has magnificent...More

Museum is inside nice church. 2€ for an adult. t's really small, short exposition, but unfortunately no English guide. No boards of even a paper so.. For Spanish people it's probably worthy, for people who don't speak Spanish it's useless.

This is a small museum without display explanation in English. Certainly one can visually enjoy the architecture, murals, jeweled displays and the alter-piece. We felt fortunate to be in the company of a guide who explained the time, place and influence of the Visigoths. The...More
