The Alcazar of Toledo, the Moorish stone fortification located in the highest part of the city is a sight to see. The military museum inside houses a collection of arms and artifacts of the Spanish Empire and modern era.

This is an excellent museum, making the very best of old and modern. Because it has a number of levels it is important that you plan a bit. It will take you hours to look at everything so choose your top priorities before going in!

Nice views to the countryside from the vast terrace but otherwise if your not interested in old arms and Spains military history,it’s not worth visiting.Recommend the cathedral.

If one building dominates Toledo its the bluff, imposing fortress of Alcazar. Stunning from outside. Must see it.
