This place is across the square from the huge Cathedral. It is dominated by the church but still is cool on its own. The square it is on also has some shade and isn’t as crowded. A nice place.

I passed by this town hall while heading to the cathedral, which is just across the square. This is also a good spot to take photos of the cathedral. The town hall exterior is large, occupying one side of the square. Its exterior is nice,...More

I personally consider that this plaza should be the main plaza in the city as the Cathedral, Town Hall and Tourist Information Office are located there. The Cathedral dominates the area and the plaza affords great photographic opportunities.

In this plaza you will find the tourist offices and the cathedral across the other side, so it is a good place to start.

The Ayuntamento square is the best place to admire the exquisite beauty of the nearby cathedral. Its shape is dominating the area and intricate decorations are so eye-catching.

This is a point of interest because it is across the plaza from the cathedral and it holds the tourist info office. There are clean bathrooms here. In front is arguably the ugliest “art” or sculpture” I have ever seen. It looks like sticks in...More

Of course, the City Hall sits on the main square, and opposite the cathedral, so you can check off a number of important sights in one go. The building itself is nice but not spectacular.

The only reason I really notice city hall was because it was across the plaza from the Cathedral. It has great views of the Cathedral and vice versa. There is some modern art sculpture that fills with water that our guide told us about in...More
