It is unique to immerse in so much history. Walk the streets whitout fear! And eat in the local small restaurants.

Toledo has a lovely historical feel to it. The old city is still in great condition and it is worth taking time to walk around and explore. The city is a mix of different styles and has a lovely rich history.

Toledo is a beautiful old city set positioned in a U bend in the river which almost surrounds the town & sitting on a hill with walls surrounding the whole of the old town. It can obviously be a bit of a 'tourist trap' with...More

Set picturesquely on a hill overlooking the Tagus River, Toledo was known as the "City of Three Cultures" for the harmonious co-existence of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish communities. You'll view El Alcazar, the 16th century Moorish citadel and discover Toledo Cathedral. Not to be missed!

It was just a joy to wander around the lanes and passageways of Toledo, and explore the quiet fringes of the city away from Zucodover Plaza and the Alcazar, which are packed with tourists. There are views of the river below the old city and...More

If a day trip, spend all day, it’s amazing! We took the train from Madrid and it was our favourite spot in Spain. Spent three weeks in Spain and Toledo was the highlight.
