“It's truly a gorgeous place”
The hermitage, which only opens for mass and for the annual celebrations, is a very simple building that was constructed in the 17th century to house the statue of Nuestra Señora del Mar (Our Lady of the Sea), Santander's much-loved patron saint.

This is something you must see during your stay in Santander. The views are simply breath taking. It is by far the most beautiful place I have seen in this country.
