A sandy city beach with blue water and nice surroundings. You'll mostly find locals bathing in the sun, swimming along the sea shore or playing the local cantabrian "palas" sport (sort of tennis meets ping-pong)

This small cove and beach is just before entrance to Peninsula de la Magdalena and almost joins with Playa del Sardinero to its left. The beach derives its name from the rock “camel” which you can make out at certain times of the tide -...More

pleasant little beach famous for its Camel shaped rock, perhaps bets viewed from the sea (on one of the boat trips available). We visited in the autumn, when the beach was emptier.

This beach is between the Palace Magdalena and the main Sendinero beach. Saw some couples playing handball. Rocky coastline with plenty of sand. I would say a spill over from Sendinero.

nearby of "Peninsula de la Magdalena", sand and rocks to search for crabs. Really nice beach to go with children. Parking and good access for stroller (as good as it can be on sand :) )

I had seen a view of this beach and I was attracted by the rock formation on the sea that named this beach: The beach of the camel “Playa del Camello.” It had rained quite a lot last night and once at Santander, the weather...More

Nice secluded beach, but with easy access, next to the entrance to the Magdalena peninsula. We saw many people sunbathing, other playing ball. The sand is soft and clean.
