The peninsula houses the Palace of the Magdalena, a beautiful royal vacation home, that is now a University and a tourist attraction. The view surrounding the Palace and Stables is breathtaking.

We paid for our tickets expecting to have a nice walk around the palace but no you are marshalled from room to room and have to sit in what I can only describe as school chairs I speak Spanish so knew what was going on...More

I was there for a conference and fortunately I was accommodated in Palacio real de la Magdalena itself. What a beautiful and amazing environment. Every time you open your window, you feel you are within the nature.

Within very easy walk from Santemar Hotel.Recently beautifully restored and the views from here are spectacular.All outside scenes from long running Spanish series Gran Hotel shot here.Highly recommended.

We used the buses to get there and come back to the center. Bus stops are located on Paseo de Pereda among others. Bus stop you need to get off is simply called La Magdalena so check the routes on the tusantander website, go... More
