Visited from Los Christianos and well worth it. The beach wasn't busy at all compared to the tourist beaches on the south of the island. Worth taking your snorkel. Lots of sea life right up to the waters edge. Not to mention the backdrop of...More

8 nights San Andreas May 2018 Getting around by public transport is quite straight forward. Do your homework to find out about buses before you go. The main bus station in Santa Cruz is on 2 levels. Top level is for main city/town destinations. Lower...More

An absolutely lovely beach with a small charge for sun loungers and parasols, the sea is blocked off a bit with rocks creating a sort of natural swimming pool. There are food and drinks vendors near the beach and you can get to the location...More

The yellow sand is course and clean. Because there is a wave-breaker, waves that reach the surf can be over a meter, by the time they reach the shore they are tamed, relatively safe for children.

Worth a trip out here just north of Santa Cruz. The sand is imported from the Sahara and is very fine. Lots to watch, including the many tankers and large ships heading in and out of port. Not much in the way of restaurants though...More

The beach is unique for the Saharas’ sand and the mix between the sea and the mountains. It is is a blue flag beach. Visit it!

You will be about 7 kms north-east of the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz, and that's where this Playa de las Teresitas beach is. It is small but very cute with lovely white soft sand that they imported from the Sahara... More
