The place is very important historically and because it hosts Sen Sebastian Film Festival. It situated extremely attractively on the ocean shore, but the architecture of it and the way of its maintainance could be better.

This is a must go for architecture lovers, It contrasts very much with the many old (Spanish) architecture found all over the historic centre in the direct neighbourhood.

This is only a review of the building. I fail to understand why a city so beautiful with exquisite buildings and stunning scenery would want a building so ugly in such a prominent place. Very modern and probably a great place inside but the outside...More

I thought that this 1999 modern multistory convention center and auditorium stands out like a sore thumb just over the bridge that connects the old and new sections of San Sebastian. The building features two giant translucent-crystal cube-like structures. They do not blend at all...More

By day just a pair of big blocks - by night the covering of opaque glass panels allow the light to shine out and the blocks take on a different lighter perspective. The setting by the surfer beach is awesome.

To get too. The conference center is well laid out with good internet access for staying in touch with home. I didn’t do any intensive file download or uploads, so I don’t know if it could handle that during a conference. The snacks were decent...More

Nothing extraordinary about this place. A modern architecture building right in front of the surfing beach.

We attended a symphony performance at the Kursaal. Even though we had seats in the second balcony, the acoustics were wonderful. There were lots of steps to climb but I'm sure there was an elevator somewhere if one needed it.

We'd been walking around and past it for a couple days before we went in. Good exhibit of an artist whose work was sort of interesting but not as grand (in my opinion) as the descriptions seemed to claim. Well presented though. So, it's nice...More
