This is a smaller gallery but it contains Santa Rufina by Seville-born Velasquez amongst other highlights. Murillo is here too, and in the church, they are running a film with English sub-titles on Murillo and his importance to the city, which is worth watching. Amazing...More

This one does not have the usual Sevillia Arabic touch. It’s a bit heavier in style but has beautiful paintings and a very impressive church. It takes about 30 to 45 Minutes to visit.

A still working hostpital and charity - the church inside is quite magnificent. Make an effort to visit.

I loved the courtyard areas, including all the plants, trees and flowers. The building itself is wonderful, I love the tiling. Don't miss the ornate church inside the hospice.

Having check out a few of the art galleries in Seville (it was raining!) we were so pleased to find the Hospital de los Venerables. An audio guide is essential to hear the lovely story behind it's inception. I had never heard of Manara who...More

Slightly disappointing on entry, not much history apparently until you enter the church which is part of the hospital. this is a really fine example of flamboyant Spanish architecture-well worth the entry fee.

we visited this lovely old hospital and chapel after looking it up in the guide book. The church is stunning with amazing paintings on the ceiling. The courtyards are lovely and there are some interesting stair cases and an original Murillo or two.

Worth a visit. Check opening times. The square is lovely with two to three cafes for drinks. Food wasn't that amazing.

Wonderful Young Velazquez. When I see the holy women of the Heavens chatting and caring nothing about San Ildefonso, I see the revolution of Velázquez. What a man!

Quite humbling, a stunning building and a magnificent Church. It is still used as a Hospital and has a beautiful calm atmosphere.

I love Casa Roman. Many say it is touristy but I take all my customers there and all of enjoy. Best Jamon in Seville, Tortilla de patatas and excellent solomillo al whisky and it is right in the corner in Jamerdana street.
