This Cathedral is the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world. It is huge with fantastic paintings, Murals and Stained Glass windows. There was a service going on while we were there and the sound of the Church Organ was amazing. I would have loved to spend...More

If there was a tick box check list for cathedrals, then this place would have it all, and much more so! Lots of big tapestries, lots of fancy paintings, nice wood carvings, big stained glass windows and usual cathedral stuff. Except everything was much bigger...More

This is a huge building, with so much to take in. It's both beautiful and quirky (baroque isn't my cup of tea). A climb up the tower is very worthwhile for great city views.

You cannot visit Seville without a visit to the large gothic cathedral. Once entered you are free to wander around the building and take in the vast size and height. The altar is magnificent and you can also see the tomb of Columbus. Included in...More

The rooftops tour (which also includes entry to the Cathedral, the Giralda and the Church of El Salvador) is a must - I think it's about 15 euros pp). The tour is in stages so you don't have to climb more than about 30-35 steps...More

The layout is a bit chaotic, but persist and make sure you walk around the perimeter as well. An audio guide is a must, as it explains the rooms and chapels. Otherwise, a tour guide is also an option. Christopher columbus has his tomb inside...More

The Cathedral of Seville is definitely worth a visit. The tomb of Christopher Columbus is really cool and has a great story about it too. His son is also buried here too. The silver alter piece is pretty incredible as is the main wooden alter...More

The most unchristian experience. Having booked a disabled ticket and brining medical evidence and my EU Blue Badge I was then told I wasn’t disabled enough to use the disabled ticket I had bought as I wasn’t 65% disabled - even though I had a...More

We didn’t do the rooftop tour. Should have but ran out of time. Rain does not seem to stop much in Sevilla. The temperature seems to affect more than rain. I think it cooled a bit since we were there 10 days ago. If you get... More

Worshippers have their own entrance to the Cathedral. I believe that following Mass, worshippers can roam around the Cathedral. Your proposed timing (Mass, see Cathedral, see Alcazar) is the right approach. Remember that... More
