This is the best place in Granada to take pictures of the Alhambra. This is where the souvenir pictures are taken from. The area is big and there is entertainment, shops and food. This is a can't be missed location.

The steep walk up to the top is definitely worth it. The panoramic views are amazing - and this is a hive of activity at any time of the day or evening.

This is a great viewpoint of the Alhambra. Even on a rainy day in November there was a guy beautifully playing classical guitar on the plaza. There is a minibus stop right below the plaza if you don't want to walk here from your hotel....More

Plaza de San Nicolas is located in a very charming part of Granada. Climbing from Albayzin to this place will allow you to discover the specific atmosphere of Spanish cities. Small cafeterias, white houses, and narrow streets - everything was so beautiful. Reaching Plaza de...More

It can be quite a walk getting up to the Plaza de San Nicolas but the views of the Alhambra are excellent and there is also the Fundación Mezquita De Granada to look at.

You come up to the plaza for the view without a doubt! The downside are the hoards of people. There is a sort of hippy, transient vibe with lots of little street vendors - interesting and great for people watching.

Excellent view of Alhambra. Worth the climb and wandering through the old city. Take a taxi if time is limited or physically unable. Well worth it!

This location gives you fantastic views of the Alhambra and the Generalife. There's a kind of flea market there, which might interest some folk, but it really would have been better with some cafes and restaurants
