I didn't have the chance to visit the place. I talked with some people living close by, and they told me they hadn't seen the place open at least during the last year!

Situated on the hill opposite the Alhambra this museum is very interesting. We arrived there on a Saturday morning to find a free lunchtime concert in the garden which was a real treat.

The small house where composer Manuel de Falla lived for between 1922 and 1939 has been preserved, largely as he left it. He never married and lived with his sister, who kept house for him. Other than pictures on the wall showing him and his...More

We found the Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla easily and were delighted to be greeted by the guide. He showed us round the house, giving us a very interesting and knowledgeable commentary. The museum is small and very intimate, and we enjoyed immensely the chance...More

We had a very personal guide around the house. The lady spoke good English and obviously loved Señor de Falla and knew many personal details of his life which she shared passionately.

Pleasant well-preserved house with rapid guided tour in Spanish (not sure if English was available!). I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how De Falla had lived and it increased my interest in his music, but you would have to have SOME interest to find the space of...More
