Known as the Convent of Santo Domingo this church was built at the end of the 15th century after the Reconquest. It contains many images of saints from the Dominican Order. The form of the exterior is confusing with many additions over time.

You must go and see wonderful images of Jesus Christ you do not have to be Roman Catholic to appreciate this wonderful site.

The Church of Santo Domingo contains the beautiful crucifix made by Pedro de Mena that is called the Cristo de la Buena Muerte. It is highly revered by the people of Malaga and is paraded around during Holy Week.
