Historic arch where the roman bridge enters the old town of Cordoba. Nice piece of history but not a lot to it - something you take in as you walk by. For €1 you can climb to the top for the view (but it’s not...More

Puerta del Puente is situated at the city end of the Roman bridge and resembles a claccical Greek style gate with its four impressive Doric columns.

The bridge has a long history and the tower on the southern side is impressive, but mostly this is good just to get a good view of the city -- and you don't have to go up the tower to get that.

Located at the opposite end of the Roman Bridge from the Torre de la Calahorra as a gateway to the Mezquita. Originally one of the last remaining gates to the historic city, this particular version is of relatively recent construction, but still adds grandeur to...More

Impressive roman archway gate. There's a 1 € fee to get to the top. Offers an impressive view. It's also very close to the other historical landmarks.

When on the bridge itself there is no indication that it’s older than about 20 years, it’s only when seen from the river bank that you realise it’s actually a really old bridge.

This beautiful and imposing gate is at one end of the Roman Bridge. The area is full of tourists, with  lots of action. There are musicians, people, families, all hanging out, part of a very lively atmosphere.

Just next to the famous Mezquita Cathedral, this huge gate is at one end of the Roman bridge, complementing the Torre De Calahorra at the other end of the Roman bridge. The structure is well preserved. Recommend to cross the bridge and take good photos...More
