We bought tickets at the Tourist Information centre and were under the impression that the €9 per person was for entry and the bus. However, the €9 only covered the bus and we then had to pay €1.50 for the shuttle and entry. This was...More

We booked a ticket on the coach from town centre which included entry to the museum, video presentation, shuttle bus to the archeological site and entry to the site. The video was essential to make sense of the ruins, so early viewing is highly recommended....More

A 20 minute drive from Cordoba. Absolutely worth it. Well preserved site. Gives an idea of the opulent court life of the Cordoba Caliphate. Valuable lessons on how Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived together in a golden age of prosperity. The museum is worth a...More

Great place to visit, very near Cordoba. You can get in for free but I would recommend going with a guided tour. You shouldn't miss the museum and the short film that they show there. It's amazing and it really brings the opulent city to...More

An interesting site, that is easy to find. No guidebooks available so our experience was somewhat diminished as the information boards were rather sparse and not overly detailed. I would recommend going with a guide to get the full experience. Museum at the bottom of...More

A modern museum appears to have been made in anticipation of both far more excavation (only 12% of the 10th cent. city has been studied) and the site’s potential inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The ruins are on the hillside, 2.5 km beyond...More

The museum has a lot of information about the beginning of Andalusian era till its end. The whole city is still not discovered yet since it was demolished through internal wars. It is good to see how big it is and its wonderful location.

The site andalucia has information about this place. Type in Madinat Al Zahra and you will see it. I couldn't write it as a proper web link because TA did not allow it.
