What a beautiful site! And the museum was wonderful. Good service. Very good english speaking guides. The entry price was nice. Will soon be back to see more of the amazing collection and site! Dont miss this one!

This is a terrific visit that combines both a gorgeous castle with splendid interiors with a very fine modern art gallery. There is also a garden and grounds to visit but I didn't have time! Sculptures abound and there is a nice choice of cafes...More

1000 years of history of the area are presented in this museum. Most of the signage is in German or Denish, but some things are also explained in English. Don't forget to take a walk through the gardens

Must visit during a stay in Schleswig. Check out the prehistoric displays, the castle church, the paintings of Cranach and the large special exhibitions.
