The aquarium itself was OK, not big, but very well maintained and with interesting species (if can get to Hamburg, there is a world class aquarium there). The highlight, however, is the feeding of seals. You can actually see the feeding from the street, no...More

The best bit of the Aquarium Kiel is the seal tank which is on the outside on the sea front and you can see for free. Inside is tiny, just two rooms. The fish are mainly from the local seas and lakes.

Very small place - took us around 10 mins to see it all and there isn´t really anything special to see Ticket price is 3€, so not worth it

The aquarium is centrally located on the harbour front. There is a little pool area where seals swim out onto the promenade to greet passers by and visitors to the aquarium. They seem to have lots of activities and events for children throughout the summer.

It took us max 20 minutes to walk through the 2 rooms of this small aquarium. Though it’s small, it’s not overly expensive (i think €10 for a family of 4) and, for us, it was worth it to bask in the dark & AC...More

Surprisingly unfriendly and unhelpful staff at the ticket office. Misleading signs of prices and ended up having to show our Passports! Overall a disappointing and short trip.

The Aquarium itself is rather small, consisting of one big room with several smaller and larger fish tanks which represent the marine life in the baltic sea as well as in the tropics. Don't expect something as entertaining as Sea Life but I think this...More

Took our 2 year old here. He loved it. It's small so we can just sit down and let him run around and watch all the fish. Good for kids. But boring for adults.

if you have thoughts about a giant aquarium or a theme park, you will be disappointed. But if you like fish and have 30 minutes left, this is a nice place to go. A large dark room with fishes on all sides. The aquariums are...More

Especially the seals are probably every child's favourite. Check upfront for the feeding times to get a good spot for watching these cute mammals have fun and meal at the same time. Friendly advice: wear something water-proof if you stand in the rows at the...More
