This train system is amazing! You fly through the air on a train, which seems futuristic but is in fact antique. Our son likened it to the Steam Punk genre. We bought a day ticket at 13 euros for 3 adults & a dog.

This is really a fun way to travel, you fly over the Wupper river and the cars on the high street, a little bit like a roller coaster at bends........

Saw this go by. You can have very fancy looking tea and cakes on this. The monorail follows the river Wupper and sways as it goes.
