I got a joint ticket with the nearby museum and it was well worth it. Even though I could not read a word of the exhibits it was still neat. The sewer is just a long dark hallway, but its still cool to know you...More

The ruins and old sewers looked awesome and they had some impressive exhibits but the English explanations were not very thorough and the confused grammar made some of the, difficult to understand

I thought this was very good- it doesn't take very long at all to look around but it is the remains of an old, large Roman building which was very interesting and is amazing that it has survived for so long.

Not worth a special visit. The restaurants in old some cellars and monasteries are more interesting to see than this. Again dull dead exhibits which you will see and forget. No experience that you will remember.

This underground enclosed site is self guided and large enough to give you an introduction to Roman era “Germania”. Well worth the visit but be aware that most of the posted descriptions are only in German.

First. Only 3-4 information boards are written in English, otherwise everything is written in German. It is absolutely amazing the ruins you can view and the sewer line you can walk through. They have 3 D models to show you what they believe the building...More

It is not well marked, in a basement under government buildings, but this large group of partly intact Roman buildings shows another side of Cologne. You are walking up close and seeing a large collection of Roman tombs and sculptures, with few tourists except local...More

The ruins of the Roman government center, carefully excavated beneath the city hall, was a delight to see. We understand that it’s about to be closed for years for further excavations.

I was very surprised at this. It's not that large and they don't have much in English but I really liked seeing the ancient Roman ruins under the city of Koln. Others may not be as impressed but it didn't cost much at all.

This attraction is like a hidden treasure in Cologne, hardly sign posted or acknowledged from what I could make out. It only costs 3.50 euro and well worth it. However, all the information about the artifacts and what you are viewing is only in German,...More

There are English tours - but I think they run from the Tourist Office near the cathederal
