Can’t say enough about this well kept garden...the fragrant trees a delight, the hydragenas gorgeous! Highly recommend.

The Botanical Garden Bielefeld is quite small compared to other botanical gardens but it's a wonderful place to wander, watch humbling bees and enjoy the sun and flowers.

This is a place which can be with great interest for "botanic freaks" as you can see plants from all over the world as for people who just want to relax in a very nice area, to sit on one of the several banks, to watch flowers and bees, birds and frogs in a small lake, to search for medicinal plants in a special "pharmcy garden". All in all : a place where you get the impression that earth can be wonderful if we care for it!

This is a very pretty and peaceful place to spend some time. The whole garden is smaller than what I had expected but it's located on a hilly area and arranged with a lot of different levels which almost seem like they are on top of each other. A lot of different kinds of flowers and plants, herbs, a bee hive and a sun dial.

the old trees beside very beautiful plants. At autumn time very colorful, it is very relaxing. I guess spring it is also nicer.

We thought this was a beautiful small botanical garden. Many countries are represented. The care taking is immaculate. It is wheel chair accessible, but one could get a workout with the hills.

one of my other favorite places in the spring a must visit to admire the army of rododendrones this is a well established display of botanic splendor since the curators take time to feature very strange and seemingly rare plants from every where possible

The gardens are situated between the Sparrenburg & Tierpark Ollerdissen. To reach the gardens by car or bycle the only route in, is from the Bethel crossing.ca . 10 mins from the Tram stop.
The gardens are pleasaent & easy to walk around, with enough seats to rest. There are not only flowers & bushes but also different trees from other countries. I was amazed at the arrangement of ancient stones some over 250,000 years old.
I spent a pleasant 2 hours strolling around.
