congratulations to the City of Wismar: this world heritage house is a very good example of the city culture, showing a piece the once wealthy town, giving a very professional introduction into the history of Wismar........

The house itself is interesting if you want to know a bit more about the history of Wismar. In the ground floor they also introduce visitors to the UNESCO world heritage programme and its sites.

This should be the first place to start to get a good overview of the history of Wismar. The cost is by donation only and the displays are in German and English.
