I never expected a place like Rostock to have a zoo as amazing as this one! It’s huge and there are soooo many animals to look at. My favourites are the Marabou Storks, the one-winged eagle and the monkey. The restaurants are overpriced (and the...More

Clean, animals look well cared for, beautiful grounds to explore....really just lovely. We spent over an hour just at the gorilla enclosure.....I’ve never had the pleasure of just watching a teenager( gorilla) play and tease I’m assuming his parent....PURE JOY.... My only difficulty with the...More

Every time we are in Rostock we visit this place. Many animals, opportunity to feed lamas and goats. Time run so fast when we are there. Such a big monkey place. We love it.
