This was quite a nitty-gritty experience but there was no suggestion that they were trying to 'beautify' the overall war experience. Interestingly, it appeared to be funded by a private initiative rather than the local government and the person taking the entry fees was anything...More

Interesting displays on the life of Emden residents during WW II. You will not be disappointed! Emden was heavily bombed and 35 bunkers in Emden were built to house the local residents.
