It's cool to see all these old mechanical music players that work. Some folks had way too much time on there hands years ago. Check it out if it's convenient but don't go out of your way.

This museum was included in our river cruise and it was great fun! Our tour included a guided visit in which the musical machines were demonstrated in each room. It was interesting and enjoyable. The collection is remarkable.

If one is interested in mechanical self playing instruments then this is the place to visit. These 100 year old instruments are reconditioned and in excellent playing order.

When I heard about a music box museum I went, "Really?". It turned out to be very interesting as it is far more than a music box museum. The musical contraptions that were found and repaired over the years were actually amazing. One had Banjo's,...More

I have to say this was very nice lovely instruments in working order, see them play. The staff were very knowledgeable and the instruments were fantastic. All set in a beautiful old town. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Couldn't quite hear the woman at the entrance who I thought was talking in German, so I asked her to repeat what she was saying in English. She barked something back about already talking in English. Maybe lost in conversation, but didn't seem very friendly....More

We have a lift,to get on the first floor. But it´s an old knights home. So we have some stairs from room to room. So with scooters it´s a little tricky.

With all of the Americans in town and around this area, finding 4 people to do the English tour should not be a problem. Check with your tour advisers or if all else fails go and see if you can get on a list.
