Take a walk at Jungfernstieg around the Binnenaslter lake. We found the lake to be a bit full of trash in places, but it’s a good place to people watch. There are plenty of swans and other aquatic birds.

Bordering the Binnenalster, the promenade starts near the Rathaus and continues on to the Gansemarkt in Neustadt. A wide terrace facing the lake is the departing point for Alster cruise boats and is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. The other side...More
