It was a beautiful day, sunny and warm, and thus perfect for a visit to a graveyard. Behind the high brick walls of the Dorotheenstadt Cemetery, we found not just the final resting places of such notables as Brecht and Hegel, with their wives, and...More

It's Germany's version of Paris' Pere Lachaise cemetery. If you like visiting cemeteries, you'll like this one. It's small, so it doesn't take too long to find famous people's graves like Bertholt Brecht. There's also a terrific light show by James Turrell in the chapel.

Cemeteries perhaps from nature isn't the most enchanting places to see but there are exceptions here and there and finding a celebrity is always worth a walk. Anyway this is a true gem that you should put high on the priority list when in Berlin....More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the

of some significant transformations, as well. The

between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
