Here at the theater established by Bertolt Brecht, performances are in German without subtitles or other translation aids; so the productions are most enjoyable for those with some mastery of the language or familiarity with the play or musical on offer. This particular evening, we...More

We saw "die Stühle" by Ionesco in the rehearsal room of the Berliner Ensemble. The cast was excellent and the direction was clever and subtle. It was a great experience.

Do book in advance. Then pick up your ticket half an hour before the performance. A lot of performances will be sold out if you wait.
