I've been to exhibitions here of artists such as Gerhard Richter which were unforgettable but unfortunately my last vist was not. I wandered through gaping halls with a couple of artworks and yawning emptiness in between. The difficult-to-find exhibition of the painter Otto Mueller and...More

This museum is not for everyone as it is mainly focused on modern type art. After several days of the Pergamon, Altes and other museums, this was really a nice change. I thoroughly enjoyed the many different types of art in a nice airy building...More

We were first here 15 years ago, and over the years it's grown, with the huge warehouse building at the side which now houses the permanent collection. In terms of space it now really matches the major art galleries of Europe. This time there was...More

Visitied this museum on our weekend city break. Expensive entry fee and very disappointing displays. Better off going to Berlinische Gallerie for what we found to be a much better quslity selection of art.

Most have a very poor attitude and were barking orders at us. The staff ruined our trip to the museum with their abysmal attitudes that created a hostile environment.
