The Museum has been closed at its present address and will be re-located to more central location where it will be opened in 2019 . Reached here today taking public transport and after much walk and searching was given this information by an attendant at...More

Slightly outside Berlin, but very close to Dahlem Dorf train station,well connected by U3. a small but nice collection.well documented and tagged, Photography is allowed.

This is a lovely little museum next to the ethnological museum a little off the beaten path in Berlin. A small, but nice collection, and worth the trip if you have the time. Included in Museum Pass

Enjoyed seeing the museum but does not have as good an Asian art collection as other countries. Also we wondered what percentage of their art were looted from the rightful owners and whether Germany plans to return any of the stolen art.
