This strikes me as a slightly over-hyped tourist objective. Doesn't take long to take in what's offered: great views of the river and Fortress Marienburg across the river Main from the Stadtmitte.

What a nice pedestrian bridge! It extends across the Main River, has eight arches beneath and statues of 12 saints, one of which is of Charlemagne. It offers nice views of the town but especially of the Marienberg Fortesss above. Purchase a glass of wine...More

Great spot to view the Main River, die Altstadt, und die Burg or Schloss overlooking the city. A great little wine purveyor on the bridge sells wine by the glass.
