Castle Kurmainzisches is a castle located in the Altstadt (old town) of Tauberbischofsheim, a tiny and very nice town, in Germany. From the Schlossplatz (Castle Square), you can see very beautiful views of the main building of the castle, the tower or, id you come here in desembee, the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market). Very beautiful, nice and tiny.

Don't expect a castle building. It's well a beautiful timber framing house with a tower next to the house. It is now a museum and it was closed on Monday. Tauberbischofsheim is a small town with a nice town square, St. Sebastian chapel special for remembrance of the WW2 victims and a new gothic church St. Martin.

Tauberbischofsheim is a nice to stop during the love route. There is the castle and some stores around, during october everything was open and pretty empty... very relaxing. I did not visit the museum, I been to Lauda-Königshofen and Königshofen before and did not find anything really interesting there.
