Just beautiful. It's just like the postcards. The old buildings and old world charm are just lovely. The food is beautiful and the people very friendly.

This place is so unique it's amazing. The shops are traditional, the food is exquisite and the location is stunning. One of only three walled cities still intact in Germany and well worth a visit. The market square house opens it's windows as the clocks...More

So romantic, lovely architecture, lots of shops and places to eat. We stayed in the city center so we were up and out early before the hordes of tour groups arrived.

Best time to take photo at this location is in the morning before 10 pm during summer before the tourist arrival. Bright sunlight with its shadow casting on the wall create sharp contrast of colours and hue

The walls and the houses are interesting. Near there are a good and simpatic restaurant Glocke. The tower in the end of the street is amazing

"Plonlein" for a carpenter's "plumb line" is probably the most famous spot in Rothenburg (and also the inspiration for the village in Pinocchio). It's just down the street from the main square. Stop and appreciate the cuteness, take a photo, and move on.
