This old church that dates back to the late 900s is another church with a Tilman Riemenschneider altar. The church is not imposing outside but it does have a neat tower, a nice church yard and a worthwhile interior. The one issue is how to...More

We visited this charming church in Spring of 2015, and marveled at the carved wood altar piece by the same artist who carved the much larger one in the cathedral in Rothenburg. Great glimpse into the middle ages.

This was a beautiful church in a beautiful town. The architecture fits perfectly with this medieval theme. I've been to many churches in Europe and I enjoyed this one.
