If you take your time to stroll through the Old City, hidden gems such as this 1824 pedestrian bridge will greet you. Located to the right as you enter the Hallertor, this neat little suspension bridge provides a scenic crossing across the raging Pegnitz River.

This bridge is not only neat to walk across, but it has an incredible view of the river and of part of the city!

Enjoyed sitting outside, basking in the spring sun and watching the gentle flow of the river. The food was great and the beer even better. Happy with the service - left a big tip.

The Kettensteg is worth a slight detour for a quick photogenic view. The history is modestly interesting, but it is not necessary for the appreciation.

When you walk around to see the sites, this is a must on the list. Close to the city center with great views of the river.

Your walk around the city wall of Nuernberg needs to include this bridge. It is a cool piece of architecture and technology from the past.
