This Christmas market is very fun as it’s medieval themed, it was crowded on a Saturday, but well worth checking it out.

We stumbled across this Christmas market was going to the residents. I really nice compact market with very traditional stalls with all staff wearing traditional German outfits. Lots of places to eat and drink and buy traditional German products. An amazing feel, and amazing smell...More

I did a free city walking tour and our guide ended the tour here in this plaza. The Christmas Market is much smaller but interesting. The vendors are wearing period clothing and selling some unique items. Who knew I was going to see this?!

Visited there on a Friday evening for the yearly medieval Christmas market. To our surprise the amount of visitors and tourists was less than what I had experienced the years before. This place is one of my three favorite Christmas markets in Munich (together with...More

During the Advent season, there are many Christmas Markets in and around Munich. However, this one is unique. It offers a medieval theme. All of the stands are decorated in a medieval style and all the workers have medieval dress. Even the food and drinks...More
