The Theatine Church of St. Cajetan (Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan), is a Catholic church in Munich that was constructed between 1663 and 1690. This beautiful church, built in Italian high-Baroque style, is well worth visiting and is only a few blocks from Marienplatz. Persons interesting in...More

This church is less obviously impressive from the outside, but once in you can enjoy the baroque opulence.

Stunningly large Church with white interior with intricate plaster mouldings. Beautiful. With so many Churches in Munich, just go through every door that opens for you!

The light inside makes it spectacular and peaceful. While the exterior is not very appealing, inside it is a beautiful church, on of the nicest in Muich.

To me, churches look spectacular and stunning on the outside but dark and dull on the inside. This church is different, it is actually the other way round. You couldn't tell there will be something special inside from the outside, but once you step in,...More

This church is in front of Odeonplatz. The exterior is yellow with baroque architecture. The interior is mainly white in color but looks very elegant. There are many fine sculptures and carvings in the church, which gives it a lot of character.

Hard to miss with it's yellowy facade and it's 2 enormous towers. Built from 1663 -90, the tombs within contain King Maximilian and wife Marie, a Greek King and other Bavarian royalty. The interior is predominately white with soaring ceilings and its 17 metre dome....More
