It's just pretty cool to get off the tram in Lehel in the middle of Munich and walk to a bridge where you can watch people line up to ride a man made wave on their surfboards. They even do it at night with spotlights....More
So the Eisbach Wave was a very big surprise. There are 8 "waves" in Munich to surf on. There really didn't seem to be an age that didn't surf. If your fit and that is your thing you can do it in Munich.
