The young , brave and energetic take to standing on their boards to surf the powerful waves. The old can watch easily from the banks or low bridge, under which the river is forced to form natural large waves, From the excited faces of every...More

It's just pretty cool to get off the tram in Lehel in the middle of Munich and walk to a bridge where you can watch people line up to ride a man made wave on their surfboards. They even do it at night with spotlights....More

This is just bizarre, and also quite amusing when people fall off... they are pretty amazing though and very sporting. Don’t miss them!

Great to watch the well organized surfers on the small river in the park close to the city center. They "dance" on the waves... (but not for a long time!).

You can see them any time...wetsuits and all. Stand on the bridge above to have a better view.
