Good day trip in Munich, so much easier to get to than the other Bavarian castles if you are staying in Munich.

If you’re near the Palace it’s very much worth the visit, even in Dec when the Gardens aren’t as pretty as in summer. The more time you spend the better but you can make a quick visit also. Worth seeing.

The entry price was very reasonable and the palace was stunning. The rooms have been maintained perfectly to give one a glimpse into life in a palace.

Due to time constrains, we only visited the outside of this "Castle." I can only imagine the interiors. The outside and surroundings are very nice maintained and impressive.

Unlike the other responses I believe that the audio guide is essential since it provides wonderful insights and helps to avoid aimless wandering through this wonderful palace.
