We usually do one complete city tour and then decide what stops to take.... We ended up getting off at the main plaza...and according to the scedule..the last bus would make a pick up at 5 p.m. to go back to starting point.....we got to...More

The hop-on and off bus was a reasonable way to see the main sights of the city without having to walk around and find them on your own. We did see things that we had not already visited, the Schloss, the BMW tower and Olympic...More

Nothing out of the ordinary, but always a good way of seeing around a new city. There are three routes, approx an hour each, so easy to do in the one day. It is winter, so they were not very frequent, and starts at ten...More

Worst hop-on, hop-off bus service. You're better walking the city line, which is fairly walkable. There's a free bus that runs along the museum line (the 100 and 68 bus lines). The last line is to Nymphenburg Palace and Olympic Village. The tram takes you...More

It was disappointing. Not worth the money you spend. Better to take a 2 hours city Walk tour with English Garden.

It is definitely the best way to get the big picture of the place your are visiting for the first time. And Munich wasn't different! Great service for an affordable price.

Very interesting tour, we got the 2 day ticket which entitles you to 3 different bus tours, well worth the money, very enjoyable overall

Cost was 17.00 EUR per person. Took off from stop next to the fountain by Marienplatz. Made one stop and changed buses to continue the tour. It was the express tour which does not allow getting off. The whole circuit is 2.5 hours. Just like...More

Please go for individual tours/ public transport rather than this one. There are two agencies providing this tour ; city sightseeing and gray lines. Both same stops and same price. Only difference being city sightseeing runs for lesser hours for the same tour. Unfortunately, we...More

Great way to cover a range of historical buildings and points of interest. Whilst the information provided on the bus is useful - the key to making the most of this tour is to do your homework. Area that are a must are the Munich...More

Hi , i went last year to Munich i stayed 3 days and i spent it as follows: day 1: hop on hop off and had a quick city tour to visit the main landmarks in Munich, but the bus was very noisy & not comfortable , you can check... More
I will be arriving munich on 16th june (night). I will be staying in Hotel Holiday Inn South Munich. My tour with Trafalgar will start at 3.30pm on 17th June. However, according to the tour itenary, we will only be visiting the Marienplatz and on our return trip, the olympic park. I plan to visit Nymphenburg castle, BMW Welt and Allianz Arena on the 17th of June before my tour starts. Would you recommend i take the grand tour plus circle? According to the website, the non stop tour takes 2.5 hours and starts at 9.40am. I am just worried that we might not make it back to our hotel in time (3.30pm), as it says that the bus departs every 60mins from nymphenburg castle, BMW welt and Allianz Arena. Or should I take the train to these places. Any other way that i can cover these places in the short duration of time i have?

In my opinion may be you should narrow down your itinerary. As the BMW is very near to Olympic park...may be you can spend less time at Olympic park & walk over to BMW, then later join back tour group. Then you need to do... More
