Cost was 17.00 EUR per person. Took off from stop next to the fountain by Marienplatz. Made one stop and changed buses to continue the tour. It was the express tour which does not allow getting off. The whole circuit is 2.5 hours. Just like...More

Please go for individual tours/ public transport rather than this one. There are two agencies providing this tour ; city sightseeing and gray lines. Both same stops and same price. Only difference being city sightseeing runs for lesser hours for the same tour. Unfortunately, we...More

Great way to cover a range of historical buildings and points of interest. Whilst the information provided on the bus is useful - the key to making the most of this tour is to do your homework. Area that are a must are the Munich...More

I was yelled at several times by the staff. One of them was for asking if we get to go to the Bayern Munich stadium (which I paid to go see). The next time was asking if I was on the right bus which is...More

When you are in a new area for a few days and the weather is poor, a hop-on-hop-off tour is a great way to spend the day. The three different tours around the city allowed you to see some great sights while keeping dry. If...More

We did the city tour at the weekend with a 24-hour ticket. The buses we used were very old, a lot of the ports for the tour information were not working, the English commentary was very rushed, with a very thick accent which made it...More

We often use a hop-on hop-off bus as an orientation tool and for a look beyond our planned itinerary. The Munich version is just an average option. You get a look around the central part of the city and there is some commentary but the...More

Enjoyed our Grand Circle tour of Munich, especially the Olympic tower. The commentary on earphones was good and we never had to actually wait for a bus. I hadn’t realised that the Grand tour was 1 loop and the shorter tour was another so to...More

I will be arriving munich on 16th june (night). I will be staying in Hotel Holiday Inn South Munich. My tour with Trafalgar will start at 3.30pm on 17th June. However, according to the tour itenary, we will only be visiting the Marienplatz and on our return trip, the olympic park. I plan to visit Nymphenburg castle, BMW Welt and Allianz Arena on the 17th of June before my tour starts. Would you recommend i take the grand tour plus circle? According to the website, the non stop tour takes 2.5 hours and starts at 9.40am. I am just worried that we might not make it back to our hotel in time (3.30pm), as it says that the bus departs every 60mins from nymphenburg castle, BMW welt and Allianz Arena. Or should I take the train to these places. Any other way that i can cover these places in the short duration of time i have?
